Even if you’re not a writer we have editors to smooth it out, BUT keep your story in as much tack as you can.
If you want to take action and encourage our readers to embrace their inner self, to love who they are, and to achieve their potential without comparison to anyone else, we are here to listen!
Our articles and insights are hand selected to reflect these important philosophies of self-love and self-help. They are meant to guide our readers to see themselves in the best possible light, as they always should.
What we need from you:

- Have you accepted something about yourself or in your life that tells a story? Do you have tips or expert advice that may help one take steps towards self-acceptance or acceptance with an experience or acceptance within their life?
- Do you appreciate anything about yourself or your life? Do you have tips or expert advice that may help one take steps towards appreciation within themselves and/or within their life?
- What have you achieved that you are proud of? Have any of these keywords played a role in who you are today, and where you are today? Do you have tips or expert advice that may help one take steps towards achieving within themselves and/or within their lives?
In keeping with Identity’s mission of ‘Accept. Appreciate. Achieve™’.
Below are some questions, known as the Identity Five for you to include at the end of your article.
- What have you accepted in your life that took time, physically or mentally?
- What do you appreciate about yourself and within your life?
- What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What goals do you still have?
- What is your not-so-perfect way? What imperfections and quirks create your Identity?
- How would you complete the phrase “I Love My…?”
We do not have to use last names, but let us know in the beginning
of your story if you will be sharing your last name.
- Each article should be between 600 -‐ 1,500 words.
- Include a suggested title on the first line.
- Submit a relevant photo(s) to be used with post.
- You may submit Video(s) as separate files or links, but we cannot guarantee they will be used.
- Keep in mind that while we’re happy to help you promote your website, organization, event orproducts, we don’t want that to be the main focus of your post.
- We prefer to minimize external links and may delete them from your article at our discretion.
- We may ask you to tweak the content if we find your submission is not a good fit initially.
- We prefer articles that are engaging personal narratives and/or educate the reader with specificadvice, guidance or tips.
- Please include facebook posts and tweets at the bottom of your post to support promotion. You may include @ to link them to your personal twitter and facebook page.
- Include an image of yourself and a 50-‐word bio at the end of your article. You may include a link to your website in your bio.

After Submission
We’ll get back to you within 1-4 weeks to let you know if your submission has been accepted.
If your submission is accepted, our team of copy editors will review it. We cannot guarantee your article will be posted soon, as it will be scheduled once approved. We may also change the title to meet our editorial guidelines.
About one day before publishing, we’ll email you the direct link and ask that you share your guest post on your site, email and/or through Twitter and Facebook.
We’ll also promote your article on our Identity Facebook Fan Page, our Identity Creator, Susan Vernicek’s personal Facebook Page, to our Twitter followers and highlight it on our weekly email newsletter.
