Ellen Goldman has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 25 years, in NYC and New Jersey. Her career has included exercise prescription and training, fitness consulting, group workshops and motivational speaking. In 1992 she became a certified personal trainer and started her training business, adding coaching to her services in 2005. Ellen is a professionally certified wellness coach, and is a faculty member of Wellcoaches Corporation, which offers wellness coach training to health and fitness professionals.
She is the founder and owner of EnerG Coaching LLC, providing one-on-one wellness coaching, group coaching, personal training, professional mentor coaching, as well as lectures and seminars on all aspects of health and well-being. Ellen was a presenter at the 2007 IDEA Personal Training Institute. She holds a BS and Masters in Physical Education, and is certified by American College of Sports Medicine, Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, and Wellcoaches Corporation. Crystal Gaynor, American Council on Exercise, Certified Group Fitness Instructor Power Pilates, Certified Mat Instructor (all levels) Pilates Method Alliance, Student Member CPR/AED Certified Fitness Lecturer Crystal is a fourth generation Pilate’s instructor and has taught over 2,000 hours of Mat Pilates since her certification in 2004. As a former dance major, Pilates seemed like a natural fit.
Trained in the classical method, Crystal is dedicated to the preservation and teachings of the method, as prescribed by Joseph Pilates. Crystal currently teaches in the New Jersey area. Dava Krause is a national touring stand-up comic, writer and actress with a recurring role on House, M.D on FOX. She also appeared on the spin-off In House appisode “Nurse Jeffery” featured on iTunes. Hugh Laurie said she had a “brilliant comedic face.” Her debut comedy rock album, “Child of the 80’s” is now available on over 300 websites including iTunes and Amazon and can be heard on XM Satellite’s Radio. In Los Angeles, Dava performs stand-up regularly at The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House and on Tom Arnold’s show “Laughing with the Stars” at The Laugh Factory. She also produces and hosts a monthly show in Hollywood featuring some of the top musical comics in the business called “Hotel Comedy.” Dava is a National Voice Over artist that can be heard in video games and radio and television commercials nationwide.
Jodi Ciampa graduated from Rider University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology and received a master’s degree in Education from Marygrove College. Jodi has held ten different teaching positions, some simultaneously, and substituted at every grade level. She has taught various subjects including science and religion, mathematics and reading basic skills, a GED preparation course to juvenile offenders, and math and English to adults studying for their high school diplomas. Jodi is currently an active stay-at-home mom to her two young children, Luke and Nicole, volunteering in various capacities including the PTA, at church, and with the Girl Scouts. Diana Petrenos currently contributes for our Life Transition section. Diana has been writing since she was a little girl but it wasn’t till high school, where she met a teacher who inspired her to take her writing further.
