It’s time to share my emotional affair and obsession with you.
I’m not going to be sharing any juicy, exciting, details about my sex life [insert laugh}, so you can continue to read on.
I want to share my emotional affair and obsession with “Getting All A’s in the Game of Life” and what most of my day looks like for me. So, do you want to learn how to get this orgasmic–like feeling whenever your heart and soul desires?
What Does “Getting All A’s” Even Mean?
I believe that once you accept a situation or circumstance and show gratitude and appreciation for what you currently have, it is then that you can achieve at a greater level within yourself and your life. I take this approach each day, one day at a time. I strive to be present in everything I do, I strive to be productive, especially during a certain time of day, and I make sure my soul feels super satisfied.
If you can’t remember the feeling of an orgasm, then you definitely need to read on because I can help you reach this full body experience without having any sex.
Blushing? Good, it’s good for your blood flow and endorphins.
I am fixated with making sure I spend most of my days accomplishing something emotionally and/or physically. When I take charge of what I want to accomplish most on that particular day, it gets done first thing in the morning. That is the quick, honest secret; first thing in the AM because the only obstacle that could get in the way, would be my evil inner voice making excuses.
For years I’ve started my days doing some sort of activity that gives me satisfaction and then about 2 years ago I was hit on the head by the obvious from colleagues to take this approach with business as well.
For me, if feels so freakin’ good to have accomplished so much by 9 am. It’s in my blood to move, and then I am not as hard on myself for the rest of the day. If I want to play, I play; if I want to nap, I nap; if I want to work, I work. Once I hit that orgasmic-like feeling, I know I had a good day. “O” yes, I honestly feel a rush through my mind, body, and soul and I smile gently as I reflect and move forward in my day.
I won’t say I get to feel this way everyday because that would be lie. Mostly because after you’ve reached this powerful feeling of achievement and self-fulfillment—all that built up energy and movement—you then feel so relaxed and content, you’ll need recovery time (or a shot).
So what’s my secret for this natural, non-sexual orgasmic feeling?
My secret is starting earlier with my self-care. At this point in my life with 11-month-old twins, working out first thing in the morning makes the most sense. I get to work out my thoughts in my head, release stress, and get ready for the day before anybody else wakes up.
On the mornings I don’t get to work out, I make sure to make the bed, do a round of laundry, and make sure the kitchen is clean first thing. For some reason if I start my morning off with some sort of activity, before my tea or coffee, it gets me riled up and ready for the day.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my down time. When I have my tea or coffee, I make sure to savor every sip, especially on days when it’s rainy and gloomy. I lounge and veg out for the morning.
Below is a day where I felt so accomplished because I got all A’s. I was going to be home with the twins all day, and I couldn’t take them out because they seemed to have allergies or a cold. Whatever it was, it was nasty and booger-y, so I didn’t want to risk wearing them out anymore.
What Most Of My Saturdays Look Like:
I got up at 6am and ran 4.5 miles for the first time since before I was pregnant—over a year ago.
7:15am: Got back, had breakfast with my kids.
7:45am: Threw a round of laundry on and then played with the kids until their first nap at 9:15am.
9:15-11:00am: While kids were napping, I cleaned the kitchen and did all the dishes, switched laundry for another round, and wrote an article.
11:00am: Kids wake up and we play until lunch.
12:15: Kids are done with lunch and we play until their 2nd nap at 1:15pm.
1:15pm: I decided to clean out my husband’s closet because he has so may clothes we can’t close his closet drawers OR the drawers to the dresser. It’s not fair that he has so many more clothes than I do, right?
2:15pm: Done and showered, and ready for a nap until the twins wake up around 3pm.
3:00pm: Twins wake up, they have a snack and then we play again. At this point I’m so tired of singing and playing. Yes, confession: I’m not the best at playing with kids indoor. I’ll take them hiking, go to the pool, go for a walk, go shopping, but at this age by 3pm I’m burnt out. So I start to think about the week’s meals.
I prepared a few meals that would last during the week for all of us. It’s amazing because the twins now eat everything we eat!
After all that and after dinner I deserve a few beers—oh and I do.
Husband comes home; we drink and spend some quality time together.
This is what makes me tick, feel alive, feel balanced, feel like a wife and mom. It’s orgasmic to me.
Even the days when I don’t do all of this and start my morning off with cleaning one room in the house, gosh, it feels awesome. OCD into play for sure! My friends joke about how productive and accomplished I am before they even wake up.
I completely understand that it’s different for everybody because of schedules and interests. The whole point of getting all A’s in the game of life is about having acceptance, appreciation, and achieving from day to day at your own pace and your own style.
What I do during the day that makes me feel amazing is going to be different from what you do.
I would assume you would love to have an orgasmic feeling more often, right? Did I just go to far? (Blushing)(Giggle) I challenge you to think about what gets you feeling like you could fly (maybe it is actually sex), and make it happen first thing in the morning! No excuses..
I’d love to hear below on what gets your blood moving and gets you feeling like you could do anything!
Reach that big ‘O’ by getting all A’s!
P.S. Secret #2
NO TV! I have very few shows that I watch, Super Soul Sunday and some trash, no-brainer TV. So get shit done early in the AM and make the conscious effort to pass on TV, unless it is beneficial to your mind, body, and soul.
