Creating Healthy Smiles

Delta Dental - Grin

I am stoked for this year’s birthday donation theme! This is my fourth year of raising money for charity instead of the traditional gift receiving. There are three words I use frequently—Smile to Inspire.  I truly believe that practicing what these three words say will impact someone’s day in a positive way.

For my 30th birthday I raised enough money to grant over 30 wishes for children and families in need through OneSimpleWish.org and every year after that I’ve chosen a different organization to support.

enchanted makeovers

This year it was extremely easy and obvious as to whom I want to support for my 33rd birthday.  I discovered Enchanted Makeovers through two colleagues of mine, Jennifer Tuma Young and Vanessa Coppes. I instantly wanted to support this organization because Enchanted Makeovers is putting smiles on faces all over the world. They go into homeless shelters and redesign them into beautiful, whimsical, and inspiring rooms.

Identity has partnered with Shirtoffrback.com where we took my three words, “Smile to Inspire.” and designed an inspiring t-shirt. My birthday wish this year is to sell a minimum of 33 shirts for my 33rd birthday! Proceeds then go to Enchanted Makeovers!

It’s that simple.

Please help me reach my 33rd birthday goal! When you purchase a “Smile to Inspire.” t-shirt you’ll be raising money to help Enchanted Makeovers create smiles in shelters all over the world! After all, birthdays are meant to spent smiling!

Identity Magazine is all about empowering women to get all A’s in the game of life – Accept. Appreciate. Achieve.™ Every contributor and expert answer the Identity 5 questions in keeping with our theme. As a team, we hope to inspire and motivate ourselves and inspire you to get all A’s.

What have you accepted in your life that took time, physically or mentally?

At 33 years old I still have so much to learn and I accept that fully. I’m excited to continue my journey of learning and maturing as a woman.

What do you appreciate about yourself and within your life?

I appreciate my soul, my mind, my body and my life.

What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What goals do you still have?

One of my most rewarding achievements is being able to leverage my business and my passion to help others. I plan to continue to give back as much as I can!

What is your not-so-perfect way? What imperfections and quirks create your Identity?

I feel that sometimes I still act like an innocent kid…. that can’t be too bad 😉

How would you complete the phrase “I Love My…?”

I love my age!
