Hi all! Since this is my first post, I would like to start the discussion by providing you with a poem, written by me, as to how begin your journey into self-acceptance. Do you feel like a wall is stopping you from reaching your goals? Do you feel as though no matter how hard you may try, you can’t ever seem to just get what you want in life? The problem is this: the word try. If you learn to let go and accept what life brings, you will knock this wall down. Allow vulnerability to enter your life. It may seem scary, frightening, or may make you want to give up and hide; don’t let it happen. Do not ever let fear stop you from opening yourself up to what the universe has to offer you. You are destined for so much more; now is your time to trust and believe that anything is possible. It may take time, and most likely, will not happen overnight. I promise though, when you least expect it, what you are looking for from life with just come to you, and because you have enabled yourself to be vulnerable and open to the universe, you will recognize to take it and run with it! Vulnerability should never ever be taken as weakness, for you have to be pretty brave to allow yourself to feel both pain and joy deeply. Let faith in yourself guide you to the light.
